Emily Rainsbury (Derham)

Considered the "old girl" of the team although only in her thirties, this beauty therapist and makeup artist is also responsible for the marketing/promotions and general direction of Body Business that she purchased in 2003.

Surrounded by a team of very dedicated professional and qualified therapists it is easy to see how this allows the three Christchurch locations to run so smoothly and efficiently.

Emily's passion for all things beauty, fashion and makeup as well as innovative ideas and products made this industry an obvious career choice and one that she finds never boring!

In addition to treating clients within the clinic environment she runs various workshops, seminars and currently teaches at the Christchurch Academy.

Other opportunities such as pampering conferences, fashion shows, photo shoots and commercial work have also extended the services available at Body Business. A mobile beauty service is also available on a monthly basis that is run and managed by Emily within the Canterbury areas of Hawarden and Coleridge.

Emily's spare time is now happily consumed with her wee baby girl Elita and of course her fantastic husband Paul who just so happens to be the clinics DIY man for love not money of course!

Carly Miller

Carly is our Clinic and Staff Manger who has been with Body Business for 6 years and is based at the New Regent Street branch.

With a warm and friendly smile, she offers staff and clients alike a range of knowledge and expertise that creates a professional, caring and relaxed environment.

With a long standing, loyal cliental and a passion for the beauty industry be sure to book this therapist in advance!

She is a self-confessed clean freak, loves the colour pink, a good wine and is a bit of a 'foodie'. Weekends are often spent walking, spending time with friends and family or with the men in her life, partner Johnny and black Labrador 'Denver'.

Tracy MacDonald

Tracy is not only a Beauty Therapist but also a qualified Nail Technician who works in and manages our Ferrymead Clinic.

This mother of one to Libby aged six, has a fun, caring and neutering manner that in turn has created a personable and professional environment in both customer care and the Body Business services and treatments.

Tracy enjoys socializing and spending time with friends and family. She will give anything a go at least once and this winter plans on learning to ski at Mount Hutt.

A trip to Scotland and Europe has also given Tracy a taste of the 'yet to experience' and she can't wait to start crossing off her "to see" list, in fact next years holiday may even be planned and the staff leave form submitted!

Jenna Penney

This experienced beauty therapist and professional nail technician has known to liken herself to a "sponge" where she has a thirst for knowledge and any new treatment within the beauty industry.

With a high standard of customer service, treatment consistency and delivery it is easy to see how Jenna compliments an already fantastic team at Body Business Beauty Therapy.

This family orientated therapist has a love for animals especially her wee dog Riley. She has recently taken up the new hobby of fishing exposing her and her partner, Jeremy to scenic views and fun past-times within the Marlborough Sounds.

Krichelle Feron

Krichelle was originally interested in both beauty and makeup making it hard to choose which pathway to head down first but after completing and obtaining her beauty therapy qualifications the decision was simple!

Her love for the relaxing spa side of beauty therapy such as body wraps/exfoliation, body massage and various facial treatments makes her excited especially when people leave feeling relaxed and rejuvenated.

Travel and Day Spas are her future goal with the hopes of visiting many different types throughout the world and experiencing the different cultures, techniques and philosophies associated to the beauty industry.

Krichelle really enjoys snowboarding in winter and boating, wake-boarding and tearing around on the biscut in the summer. There is nothing better (especially on a warm summers night) than playing tennis, socialising with friends and heading down to Alexandra to visit friends and family.

Sophie Hawes

This Receptionist by day and Youth Pastor by night has a love of meeting and working with people of all ages and helping them obtain the goals and dreams they set for themselves.

Warning! Our "receptionist extraordinaire" has a very positive and enthusiastic approach to life that is highly contagious and has the ability to leave people feeling relaxed, calm and extremely well looked after.

Her interests include 4 wheel driving, reading, and being a newlywed, loves spending time with husband, Graeme, and creating their new life and pathway ahead.

Nadia Derham-Cole

Our Saturday receptionist has a highly contagious personality that is vibrant, bubbly and extremely accommodating. She adds a "bit of fun" in the weekends for our therapists and clients alike.

During the week this qualified and talented Graphic Designer works for Creative Family, where they produce various print and design material for both the education and commercial industries.
