Emily Rainsbury (Derham)

Considered the "old girl" of the team although only in her thirties, this beauty therapist and makeup artist is also responsible for the marketing/promotions and general direction of Body Business that she purchased in 2003.

Surrounded by a team of very dedicated professional and qualified therapists it is easy to see how this allows the three Christchurch locations to run so smoothly and efficiently.

Emily's passion for all things beauty, fashion and makeup as well as innovative ideas and products made this industry an obvious career choice and one that she finds never boring!

In addition to treating clients within the clinic environment she runs various workshops, seminars and currently teaches at the Christchurch Academy.

Other opportunities such as pampering conferences, fashion shows, photo shoots and commercial work have also extended the services available at Body Business. A mobile beauty service is also available on a monthly basis that is run and managed by Emily within the Canterbury areas of Hawarden and Coleridge.

Emily's spare time is now happily consumed with her wee baby girl Elita and of course her fantastic husband Paul who just so happens to be the clinics DIY man for love not money of course!

Krichelle Feron

Krichelle was originally interested in both beauty and makeup making it hard to choose which pathway to head down first but after completing and obtaining her beauty therapy qualifications the decision was simple!

Her love for the relaxing spa side of beauty therapy such as body wraps/exfoliation, body massage and various facial treatments makes her excited especially when people leave feeling relaxed and rejuvenated.

Travel and Day Spas are her future goal with the hopes of visiting many different types throughout the world and experiencing the different cultures, techniques and philosophies associated to the beauty industry.

Krichelle really enjoys snowboarding in winter and boating, wake-boarding and tearing around on the biscut in the summer. There is nothing better (especially on a warm summers night) than playing tennis, socialising with friends and heading down to Alexandra to visit friends and family.

Jala Farmer

Employed full time at our Ferrymead Clinic, Jala has joined our professional team of therapists after coming back from the UK and Australia. While enjoying her overseas experiences she worked as a head therapist in quite a few different beauty clinics and establishments including the award winning top UK Day Spa in Edinburgh, Zen Lifestyle.

She comes offering you, our clients, a wealth of experience and knowledge which she loves to share in order to continue with her passion of making people look and feel great about themselves.

Although the diversity of this industry allows Jala to enjoy all aspects of beauty therapy, she especially enjoys doing massages, tanning and waxing.

Outside interests consist of walking, tramping, horse riding and of course socialising with friends and family - and this has been more so of late now that she has come back to her kiwi roots!

Nadia Derham-Cole

Our Saturday receptionist has a highly contagious personality that is vibrant, bubbly and extremely accommodating. She adds a "bit of fun" in the weekends for our therapists and clients alike.

During the week this qualified and talented Graphic Designer works for Creative Family, where they produce various print and design material for both the education and commercial industries.
